The DESIGN-Verse Vision

ICCAD 2026 is the inaugural global conference organised by the ICAD Institute at UCSI University. This conference establishes a premier platform for interdisciplinary dialogue across creative arts, design, and emerging technologies.

With the theme "DESIGN-Verse", the conference explores the expanding ecosystem of design, where creativity intersects with digital innovation, culture, sustainability, and immersive experiences.

The conference will feature keynote speeches, paper presentations, panel discussions, exhibitions, and networking sessions — covering multimedia design, digital arts, animation, visual communication, creative technology, and sustainable design practices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend ICCAD 2026?
ICCAD 2026 welcomes researchers, academics, graduate students, industry practitioners, and creative professionals from Malaysia and abroad. Both presenters and conference participants are welcome.
Will papers be published in Scopus?
Yes. All accepted full papers will be considered for publication in Scopus/WOS indexed journals including Edelweiss Applied Science and Technology and Journal of Arts & Humanities (TBC). Authors will be notified of acceptance by 15 August 2026.
What is the paper submission format?
Full papers must be 4,000–6,000 words, formatted in APA style, written in English. Only full paper submissions are accepted (no abstracts only).
When is the early bird deadline?
The early bird registration deadline is 10 June 2026. We strongly encourage early registration to secure discounted rates and your place at the conference.
Where is the conference held?
ICCAD 2026 will be held at De Institute of Creative Arts and Design, UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur on 29–30 October 2026.
Is there a Best Paper Award?
Yes! A Best Paper Award will be presented during the parallel session room after all conference presentations are completed on both days.
